History Of The Bee's Freeze Drink

"Bee's Knees" is a slang term used by people during the prohibition era to say that something was the best or very very good. The Bee’s Freeze is a frozen version of the Bee’s Knees, a gin cocktail created during the Prohibition era in the United States. This mix of gin with citrus juices and honey was made to mask the repugnant smell and taste of poorly made bathtub gin.

The goal of this frozen gin cocktail was to improve the taste of something that had a less than ideal taste, but the taste of this delicious cocktail with quality gin is even more popular to this day.

The first step in making the Bee’s Freeze is making the honey syrup, one of the ingredients in the Bee’s Freeze.

We've been doing business with our friends at Chapel Tavern for quite a while now. Part of their secret to making the bee's freeze was using a Taylor 430 machine that they bought from us at Slices Concession.

ThTaylor 430 frozen beverage frozen drink margarita machinee Taylor 430 is one of our most popular machines & it's in high demand because of its efficiency and quality in making frozen desserts and drinks. We recommend a Taylor 430 to any type of venue looking to serve frozen beverages but we especially recommend it to venues, such as restaurants & bars, because our machines are designed for high volume sales.
