Description
Wilson Pumps WMP450
Air Driven Diaphragm Pump for Soft Serve Ice Cream Machines
The new Wilson Pumps WMP450 is an after market pump that converts gravity soft serve machines to pump-fed or upgrades your current pump machine to an improved pump design, with a plug and play solution. The Wilson Pump features a flexible hopper-mounted design that can be used with soft serve machines from different manufacturers and for different models. The team at Slices Concession has tested the Wilson Pump against factory pumps and was blown away at the ease of setup and use, reliability, and superior product resulting from the Wilson Pump. This is a game-changer in the pressurized ice cream machine space!
Key Details
- Precision Air Injection: The Wilson Pump employs a fixed displacement, variable speed, constant-pressure design. It injects an adjustable, pre-portioned amount of air on the back of every pump stroke, ensuring consistent overrun and perfect texture, regardless of how fast or slow the soft serve is tapped from the barrel.
- Unlimited Overrun Flexibility: The pre-portioned amount of air can easily be adjusted by turning a knob, giving the user the ability to adjust overrun from 30% to 80%!
- Particle Tolerance: The Wilson Pump can handle particles up to 3mm in size. This opens up exciting possibilities for artisan soft serve flavors.
- Simplicity and Reliability: Unlike sensor-based systems, the Wilson Pump’s air-powered design eliminates the need for electronics or sensors. Fewer components mean fewer failure points, resulting in more reliable performance.
Advantages
- Very simple design minimizes the number of parts to clean or fail.
- Industry proven valve design tolerates particles of up to 3mm in the mix to allow users to add inclusions directly into the mix.
